How does it work?

Borrow Bags are handmade from donated, pre-owned fabric and placed in shops for people to borrow and return. It’s a simple, local solution to reduce plastic pollution and reuse materials with love.

We need:

  • Sewing VolunteersMake bags from clean, reused fabric!
  • Shops & BusinessesDisplay bags for customers to borrow
  • Donate MaterialsDrop off fabric, curtains, or sailcloth

We still use over 500 million single-use plastic bags every year in the UK. Only a small percentage of those get recycled. So, join us with ‘Borrow Bag’ to help fight plastic pollution!
