Last year, we were really pleased to be contacted by an organisation in Bournemouth to see if Nellie the fish could visit the glorious Jurassic coastline over the summer. Our plans were progressing well – and then the world went a bit mad with the arrival of Covid-19! However, we are really thrilled to say that it all finally came to fruition in July. Working with We Have the POWER and BCP Council, Nellie is currently by Bournemouth Pier near the Tourist Office.

The team at We Have the POWER and Leave Only Footprints have been running competitions for school children based around Nellie, providing colouring in sheets and more – all perfect for keeping children entertained during these uncertain times.

We will be collecting Nellie at the end of the month, she will be heading home for a check over, and then is booked to visit Hayling Island seafront for a couple of weeks. She’s a busy fish!
