Huge thanks to everyone that came along to a chilly beach clean at Warsash on the 28th of November.

55 amazing volunteers came along including Locks Heath Infants eco-warriors! We picked up 50kg of rubbish from the shore including a brand new Nike shoe, lots of fireworks-related waste, loads of spent shotgun cartridge shells, lots of broken glass and a strange patch of nails. All alongside the usual offenders including sweet wrappers, plastic drinks bottles, plastic food packaging and plastic-based rope.

Thank you so much everyone – we really appreciate you turning out on a Sunday morning and loved meeting you all. Keep an eye on our social media and website upcoming events to find out when our next clean-ups are.

If you run a business or work for an organisation that would be interested in sponsoring one of our beach cleans, please find out more here!
