We were really excited to take part in our second Sea Bin, See Change event on the 30th November. These events are hosted by The University of Portsmouth and Capturing Our Coast, and included plastic related talks, Q&A stalls from contributors around the UK. Lissie from our team gave a presentation about the work that we have been carrying out since we started the Final Straw Solent earlier this year.

It was fantastic to see so many environmentally friendly stalls at the event, showing so many alternatives to plastic products. The talks were all fascinating and included Professor John McGeehan from the University of Portsmouth, who is carrying out pioneering work on plastic-eating enzymes.
